In Cuba, the fare for the rental is paid when the booking is made, but it can be cancelled at no cost up to 10 days prior to the rental start date. When picking the car, dayly insurance, warranty (devolved at the end of rental if no guilty accident occourred) and first tank of petrol (the car will be returned empty) will be paid locally - both by credit card (if not american) or cash.
To prevent from fraud, you can pre-pay rental using PAYPAL, an EBAY-YAHOO company wich will also guarantee against commercial fraud or internet hacking of your credit card data.
Once payment is made, you will receive a voucher to pick-up the car at the location you chose. In case rental will end before the date you requested, keep your copy of the contract and you'll be refounded for the part of rental not enjoyed. |
